Bamboo bike wins seventh Red Hook Criterium. Thibaud Lhenry, a 24 year old cyclist from France took part on his custom build bamboo bike. Lhenry is a professional mountain biker who has competed in two world cups and French national championships.  This was Lhenry’s third time participating in the Red Hook Crit and it looks like his bamboo bike brought him good luck.

Riding his very own bike, made from bamboo, built by a friend of his, Lhenry braved the very wet weather. With a bike like this what could go wrong? Winner of the 2014  Red Hook Criterium .Bamboo-Fixie
